How to give books from the Apple iBook Store

Apple has improved its purchasing options this Christmas with the update of many of its services as well as the inclusion of new ways to give gifts that did not exist before.

After completing the questionnaire, when we click on the next button, we will be asked for our Apple ID credentials to proceed with the collection of the book.
If we do it from an iDevice, the procedure is very similar. In this case we must first open the App Store, iTunes Store or iBook application depending on the content we want to give away. In this case, since it is a book, we will have to click on the iBook application.
In order to select the “Gift” option, we must search for the book we want to give as a gift and when we have it selected DO NOT We will click on “Buy”, since it would be purchased in the name of our account. To make the gift, click on the book so that more information about it appears and once inside, at the top we will see the share button (it is an up arrow) which when pressed will give us the possibility of making the gift.

When we click, a screen will appear in which we will be able to enter the same data as when we make the gift from iTunes on the computer with the difference that changing the gift option on a date is somewhat confusing. By default it comes “SEND GIFT: Today” and to change it you have to click on the word.
