Microsoft always recommends that all users of each version of its operating systems use a strong password to try to prevent access by any other person without proper authorization.
From the old versions of Windows to the most modern (even Windows 10, which is about to be released in 2015), a very similar interface has always been implemented when it comes to write the access or login password to the operating system. Being able to disable this key can be somewhat complicated for many people since a few functions are usually hidden in the most recesses of the operating system. For this reason, in this article we will try to mention three alternatives that you can choose when deactivating or disabling the login password in Windows XP and higher versions.
Trick to disable the login password in Windows
First of all, we must mention that once we deactivate the login key in Windows, our computer could be being reviewed by anyone, since it will only be enough to move the mouse or press a key for the lock screen to open. deactivate it and thus have complete access to the equipment's information. Once we have proceeded with these steps we will immediately find a new window, which will show all the users who have registered on this Windows computer. We just have to select the one that corresponds to an administrator's account and then deactivate the box at the top.
When we close the window after applying the changes We will be asked to enter the current password, this through a pop-up window. Here we will also have to approve the changes using the respective button in this new window.
When we restart the computer, it will no longer ask us to enter the password to log in to Windows.
Alternatives to disable the Windows XP login key
What we mentioned above will not work in Windows XP, therefore it is necessary to adopt other types of alternatives. We recommend using two tools that you can download completely free, which are the following.
auto Logon It is the first alternative, which we can handle in an easier and simpler way than what we have done previously. When we run this tool, a small pop-up window will appear and where we just have to place:
- The username used to log in to Windows XP
- The domain name
- The key or password used to log into Windows XP
Later we only have to select the button that says «Enable» so that the Windows access key is deleted at that moment. When we start the operating system we will be able to notice this situation.
