If you are one of those people who uses Facebook and you have a large number of friends added to your contact list, then you will have to Be more sociable every day and start receiving different types of notifications by each of them. Games become an alternative in terms of invitations to share, a situation that could serve as a pretext to get to know someone even more.
Unfortunately, these types of activities within the social network are not well regarded by some users, since they may have opened an account on Facebook with the aim of make your company and each of the products known that are part of it. From this perspective, receiving invitations to play on Facebook can be very annoying, so we should try to adopt a few tricks to block these games and even future invitations from some of our contacts and friends.
Steps to block an invitation to play on Facebook
We must clarify previously that this article has the objective of block different invitations to play on Facebook and no more, that of "blocking one of our contacts." If the latter is what you would like to do, you would only have to search for your friend or contact's profile and then select the "block users" option after deleting them. You just have to select said button (games) to jump to a new window and where you will find a few options distributed in two main tabs, these being:
Search games. From here you can try to explore the area to find any Facebook games you want to share with your friends.
Activity. Here are all the invitations sent by our friends to play on Facebook. This area can be somewhat annoying since Facebook usually makes a large number of suggestions (without our authorization) so that we can choose the best games on the platform. Even if it is difficult, we must try to go towards the final part of this window to be able to locate the area that we are really interested in exploring. When we do it we will find two options to choose from:
- Invitations.
- Requests
The one we must select for now is the one that says «Invitations«; Once this is done, all those invitations to play on Facebook from our friends and contacts will appear on the right side.
From there you will have the opportunity to start “ignore all” type of suggestion from your friends As for playing on Facebook. If you do not want to use this button then you could perform a selective task, that is, we will have the opportunity to accept or reject any invitation to play in one of your friends' proposals.
If we have decided to block a game, a window very similar to the one proposed at the bottom will appear, where Facebook asks us if we want to block only the game or to all invitations that come from this contact.
If this last option is chosen, said user you will no longer be able to send us at any time any type of invitation to play on Facebook. As we can see, with small steps we will be able to prevent invitations to play on Facebook from being sent to us. An additional alternative could be to place the image that we placed at the top of this article as the cover photo, being an allusive message that will denote that we do not want to play on Facebook.
